You think that's necessary to have a big SSD? I purchased a 240gb SSD and just save The program's I want to boot up fast on it. Everything else I'm saving them to a WD 1Tb Hard Drive.

I'm just speaking from my experience of course. I just found that 240gb didn't go very far, even though I intended it to be the boot drive. You will inevitably want to install more and more things to it if your secondary drive is an HDD. Maybe you'll be happy to just leave it be with windows and a few programs on though, in which case it will be fine.

You won't be able to do high settings but you should be good. I haven't read much on the beta, is a code being handed out for it? I'm currently out of town and won't be able to log in till the 9th or 10th. Will it be to late for me to join in the fun?

Sounds like all you need is an EA account and you have it.

yeah just open up Origin and it's there to click on to preload. Gonna be a busy november with all the games.

Played a Bit of Batman Arkham CITY on PC .. and this game loves to crash

it's a GFWL game "retail" and since i'm a noob to PC didn't realize that GFWL is dead so the Disc is Obsolete, however the Activation Key did work on Steam & Downloaded it from there

windows 10.... hmmm....

I don't feel like you need it. The loading times suck though but then again, it's beta.

I heard a lot of people are getting real nice FPS without 16 gb of RAM. Seems like if you are in between 8-16 you should be fine.

My FPS has been good. It's been at a constant 60 with all settings maxed.

CPU definitely does, in fact, some titles are geared more towards using the CPU than the GPU. I have an I7 3770k overclocked to 4.4Ghz and it definitely makes a difference.

I guess I dunno what tests you are referring to but I would imagine if your game requires 8GB of RAM and you have 8GB of RAM and other programs are also running taking some of that RAM that it is going to negatively affect your performance. I will agree that RAM speed probably doesn't matter but I still think the amount of RAM will definitely make the game run better.

I am sure you wouldn't see a different if you went from 16GB to 32GB if the game only requires 8GB though. But if you are on the edge, I am positive you would see a different from going to 8GB to 12GB. Or if you decided to play under the recommended amount.
