I think it sucks because the charge was there...and then the charge was reversed. The funds were there, the first charge went through, but that second charge got snapped back by the bank and declined. It all happened so fast, my head was spinning. I called Sideshow after I called the bank and the order was already canceled and off my account. I was a paranoid person with the whole credit card/no courtesy thing. I just wasn't paranoid enough. Never occurred to me that my bank's fraud detection center would be the obstacle. :(

Funds in place - check.
Account updated - check.
Notify bank about upcoming charges - grrrrrrr......

First, your situation does suck, especially since it was OK at first and then the bank screwed you over. Personally my banks has never stop any Sideshow stuff. They'd probably be worried if they didn't see any Sideshow charges as they are there every month. :lol

I guess your problem was not being paranoid enough like you said. You should have either called the bank and let them know just in case, or sent in a check or money order. I did the check option since I only use a $500 balance card for my collectible purchasing and this would have sucked up a lot of the credit, plus it would have caused problems with the SDCC exclusive since they were like $480 :google

But is the PZ regular not available at CSC or any other retailers? I doubt the regular will be that hard to get right now. At least the exclusive wasn't the one canceled. That would have been bad! :horror

That's what slays me, is that when I was working with the bank on the fraudulent charges back in May, they made note of my spending pattern and Sideshow was on that list. Apparently the fraud specialist working yesterday shot first and then asked questions later. But, it is what it is. I didn't start my secondary market quest yet.

I guess I'm on a roll. I lost the Butcher because I had to cancel going to comic con. I got schooled on the inability to convert an attendee order to a non-attendee order, which kind of baffled me a bit since the only difference was pickup versus shipment. So I had to cancel the order to avoid an orphaned Butcher and a lengthy wait to get a refund after they reconciled orders not picked up, blah blah blah. :duh

I got my ship notice too! I guess when you pay by MO, it says processing right up until it ships.

Mine won't be here till July 7th, though. I can't wait to see some pics from the people who get it sooner!

Anyone getting him earlier than Thursday yet? Any Californicators getting him tomorrow?

I am in CA and usually get him the day after he ships, but I haven't got my quantum shipping notice yet; my account still says: Item Shipping Soon.

If I don't have the notice by tomorrow morning, I will give Sideshow a call.
