Actually before the movies, they started quoting ben as being the one who said the line, you are right about amazing fantasy 15 but it was used after that in later tellings, but not after the movies or ultimate.

Still agree with Mike there about the whole Goblin situation. He as pretty much shoehorned in there just for her to die.

But the thing is Comics has the benefit of having more time to flesh out the story.
Movie has to do it in one sitting.

Comics have the benefit of being able to stretch stories out longer yes, but I think the film and franchise on a whole would have benefited from taking a bit more time with certain events. MJ could have at least been established in the film so we'd know she exists and could have taken the place of Gwen eventually. I liked The Amazing Spider-Man 2 but the whole aspect of Gwen's death just felt very rushed to me. They could have done it in the next film and it would have been as effective and probably more so. It seems like Sony isn't really thinking long term with these films and are just making them on the fly. I think in the end that ultimately is making them weaker than the actual Marvel Studios films.

Agreed. The film felt like they tried to pack too much in too quickly. It wasn't a terrible film, but it did suffer for it.

I've heard many many reviewers say that they think that Sony focused too much on franchise building than making a good movie. I do really really think it could have been something great as I didn't care for the first film either.

So glad I pre ordered this. By the time I recieve him I will have a black cat waiting for him. He looks old school so I'm making her old school. So the fur will fly in the sewing room.

I think they should have added some padding to his pectorals/body and legs. He just looks way too skinny, like a really skinny cosplayer. The change in material for the suit is a great upgrade though.
