Im new to this forum..and what a great site!

Im an FX Sculptor and Illustrator from the UK

I thought Id get you the heads up on a new bust I have just completed

Neytiri from Avatar she is life sized, (human Female)

I originally sculpted her in WED clay,

she is cast in PU Hollow cast resin

Her visor was sculpted in WED than cast in Latex with vac formed plastic lenses

all fabrication was done by myself...paint hair Jewellery etc

I dunno... looks a bit off to me. Some roughness in the overall sculpt and the portrait looks too thin/drawn (at least from that image).

Eyes are awesome though; don't think they could be much better.

I'd like to see some more translucency in the paint apps, but that sculpt and all the accessories are top notch.

Those eyes are amazing!! She is so beatiful . I´m sure the price is prohibitive.

The likeness is a bit off, the neck looks too long which is making the face look a bit narrow. Its an amazing attempt but isn't spot on for my tastes especially considering the pricepoint it must run.

Beautiful work, man! That little wrinkle under her eye is my only nitpick; it makes her look older than she actually is. Other than that, spot-on work!

That bust looks on point.

If by on the point you mean, they took a left turn to go to a gas station, but ended up in buttsex Alabama. If that's what you mean, then yes.

The neck is way too thin, the face looks thin as well, the skin features are all wrong. Good effort. But just...eh.
