New to Marvel Hot Toys, looking for advice

Best bet is to get new releases, HT is throwing them out like candy, and the Avengers:AoU line is sure to come.

If I had to choose 5 of current releases to get one version of each Marvel character, I'll choose:

IM Mk 42 (or Silver Centurion)
Dark World Armored Thor
TFA Captain America (old release, but you can still get one around $250 or less)
Winter Soldier Black Widow
Avengers Hulk

1. HULK (must have) though a new one may be released down the line.
2. Iron man mk42 (unique color) if you are after a red one wait for AoU mk 43.
3. GA Cap (for traditonal puposes and you need a cap in your collection) but head sculpt needs changing.
4. Red Skull (seriously badass)
5. Thor (either light or armored) whichever you prefer more.

You def need the big 3 or 4 in your collection. Hulk, Cap, Iron man and perhaps Thor. Red skull has a very good sculpt. Others like monger but its your preference. Give me an iron skull anyday.

My recommendations if you will buy only one in no particular order

Hulk
Captain America - Get a newer one, cheaper and fulfill purpose.
Iron Man - Get the Diecast Mark 42
Thor - latest is available at retail but if you can snag the Avengers one that would be ideal.
Spider Man - Amazing Spider man version is available at retail.

2- Avoid Bruce Banner. Poor Likeness IMO

3-All suggested are good to go.

Just wait for new releases. Don't back track unless you are made of money
