Dreads are too thin and short too.

I was hoping for models more accurate. The avP predators were bodybuilder.

Very interesting they chose to give them the bio-helmet tubes. I'm guessing the tubes and the backpacks that are attached to the tubes will be non-removable since it seems like it would be extremely hard to do that on a production model 7" scale figure.

Also, I know it's not NECA's fault and that they really nailed the design and it is %100 accurate to the film, but Scar's face just looks so darn goofy. I wish that when they chose to make them thinner they would have also chose to change Scar's face a bit...

Absolutely, that is not AVP. I know that Neca change the body proportions, but this is to extreme.

@Jace Maden, sadly they dont nailed the design. They change too much. It looks not like the Predators in AVP, it looks like the first Predator figures from Hot Toys :-(
This is very disappointing, because Neca is famous for there very accurate Predator and Alien figures.

To the face, some is off, its not completly accurate, maybe the mouth is too big and wide opened, so it looks strange and cartoony.

A closer or closed mouth would look much better:

Neca AVP armor's are nice, visor lens color are accurate.
But the proportion of the body size is kinda weird, and the dreadlocks are too short and thin.


Although HT's AVP got many inaccurate parts, but i still prefer HT's AVP on details and body proportion.

I'm not paying for NECA's anorexic artistic interpretation of the AvP predators. I'm paying for the ****ing AvP Predators. They're supposed to be beefy football players. Why bother picking up the license if you're just going to change their designs?

NECA certainly hasn't "improved" anything about their design. They've made them into anorexic anime characters. Do not want.

Hot Toys completely nailed their AvP 2.0's, with the beefyness and all, and they look excellent.

awesome news man! i only collect preds from the movies and comics, bring on wolf 2.0.

btw, i don't have the hot toys avp so i'm getting the avps too. they look ok to me. considering the removable armor, they would look bigger when fully armored if they made their bodies any bigger.

They could be a tad bigger... Hot Toys did the size just right not super skinny, but not super bulky either....

^ Yup. I really think Hot Toys hit the perfect balance for me. Like you say, not too thin and not too bulky. I do wish the NECA AvP Preds were a bit thicker/bulkier, but I still think they look good. I plan on buying them all.

Agree, HT's AVP got nice body proportion. Not so skinny and yet not too bulky.
I used to no satisfied with HT AVP dreadlocks because it were not long enough for me.
Now i am ok because Neca's AVP dreadlocks are more worst.

Hope Neca will have some revises on their AVP Preds, then I will buy.
