After having been first introduced at the 2013 New York Toy Fair, the NECA Gremlins 2 “Movie” Mohawk figure is finally making his way to toy store shelves and online retailers this June! The official release date for the figure was revealed at this year’s New York Toy Fair and via the Entertainment Earth website. If you already have the previously released Spider Gremlin figure, then you essentially already have half of this figure. The new Mohawk will consist of the head, torso, and arms of the Spider Gremlin, but the lower body will be replaced with a pair of normal gremlin legs. It should be noted that release dates provided at the Toy Fair tend to change within the course of a few months, so don’t bet your money on seeing this figure in June. Still, I’m very happy to see NECA continue with the Gremlins line. We’re also getting an “Ultimate” Gizmo figure this year!
