So now nothing is on the Neca store under SDCC exclusives
yeah we are speculating thats cuz they are actually changing it to one per for tomorrow

I think what aggravated me the most is once I confirm the payment in PayPal, that should’ve been it , the fact that I had to still complete the process back at the site is just ludicrous and that’s how it stalled and I lost

Nothing anyone can do about that, seems completely random. It got me TWICE! HA!
I think they changed something with the sale today. Both days I got the turtle dio in the cart, logged in to pay pal and made it back to the check out page of their store. Yesterday it said they were sold out by the time I pressed confirm/place order but this time I noticed that it said it was holding my place in line and my order went through even though I had issues entering the shipping info with my phone.
My guess with the current dissapeance of the exclusives is they are re-evaluating how many to put up for PO vs bring to SDCC. I think quantity-wise they are probably making close to the right amount it’s just that some people are buying them to flip them instead of buying because they want to keep them. In my opinion that is part of problem. If they put up the dio as a general non-exclusive release at $250 I don’t know if they would sell more than 2,000 same goes for 5,000 additional sets of the turtles at $125. I think the really problem are the flippers.

True and it’s interesting I’m seeing on YouTube that some have contacted Neca directly and Neca’s response is they are monitoring the scalpers and they have a way they can detect scalpers ..BS
The method I used that worked today was this;
1. Log into your PayPal account and periodically click around in it to make sure you stay logged in.
2. Have the page for the turtle dio open and keep refreshing it. I started refreshing it around 12:58 in case they went live early.
Doing that should give you a decent shot of getting it in your cart the second it goes live. Use PayPal to checkout and since PayPal already has you logged in you save some time there.
I probably hit the PayPal button by 10-15 seconds after 1 but it was probably 1:02 or so before my order finally finished going through so I think at some point they hold your place in line or they lasted longer today. I was also able to go back and get Hawkins after my first order went through.

Unless they are trying to buy more than two or have multiple orders shipped to their house I don’t know how they can tell. I know I ordered two one for myself and one for my kids so some people who order two are not intending to scalp. Would be nice if Playmates didn’t have a stranglehold on the liscence and they could do a “club” or a preorder for them without a production limit.
I did that..I had all my information stored, PP was open got to the confirm payment and then it fished me back to final stage and said I don’t have a phone # when I already authorized my phone #. As I punched in my phone# it said waiting in line and then it went to Sold Out

That’s why I’m going to try a CC to eliminate the pause to go to PP, now it could lag just the same, but I’m hoping it won’t
They didn't hold my place. The set was in my cart and I entered the checkout process three seconds after 1:00 PM. I was hung up in the "checkout line" for forty-five seconds before being told the figures had been removed from my cart. Completely shut out in less than fifty seconds. I at least made it to the shipping method screen before getting denied yesterday.

Anyone here try refreshing on the shipping page when it froze up? I was scared to but now i wonder if it would of helped...

Without actually having tried it and knowing the results, I can tell you that it would’ve been just as bad. Refreshing while being in a virtual line or processing anything is NEVER a good thing.

Exactly. I almost thought of doing it but I waited and scored mine and one for my nephew day one. I missed the past 2 years.

So I got lucky today, but tomorrow I will try to get another set for a SSF member, but I told him that if he gets it from someone else, then it's no big deal, and I'll just sell it here for the retail price + shipping cost, , so letting you all know. Let's see if I can get lucky twice.

I agree, I thought I was fast today. Was signed in,info and card ready...shipping selection took 15 seconds and still didn't get it. It seems selective as you said

still nada in that section on site now and no word on why via neca, interesting
agreed, impossible for me to go faster in that checkout, do think its random luck as to who gets thru on the site, liek im sure there were many at same step we were but only at random did certain orders make it and others not.
