I've never listen to Gary Numan, I suppose he's worth checking out if he's on your list.

I've never listen to Gary Numan, I suppose he's worth checking out if he's on your list.

After his spacey synthwave albums of the late '70s, his music got progressively cheesier and more poppy which caused his career to nearly burn out in the early '90s. With Sacrifice in '94, he got inspired by Depeche Mode's Songs of Faith & Devotion (very underrated album IMO) together with the industrial bands of the time and went goth. Good decision that was. Everything he's put out since then is really cool, I think you'll like it.
