Having seen RHCP live, I must disagree. They can still give a show and their music has evolved nicely from the juvenile punk rap they started with (which was also good). The diversity in their music makes them have a lasting power IMO as well.

For me, I cannot stand Nickelback, Daughtry, Linken Park, and FALL OUT BOY. I have never heard any Jonas songs.
