Wow, thanks guys.
I removed the front s bit of the hair today and it came of no problem, looking to fill in the hole and paint it over the weekend, and maybe sort out some glasses. Anyone know where I can get a decent pair? Can find anything on evil bay

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Here's the brake down, firstly Hes on the superman body which I wasn't going to use at first, as I didn't think I would be able to get the arms in a good enough position and still look good, and didnt want it looking to bulky with the extra layers, but it works well.
The suit is a soldier story man in suit blue pinstripe, which I found fits really well, which was a surpise as I found most items from soldier story come up small against hot toys. Shirt and tie is from hot toys 20th century boys friend figure, i originally was going to get the hot toys spirit tie as it had the wire in it, but couldnt find one at a good price, so I added the wire myself, extra parts are ACI mods black dress shoes and ACI grey socks, and wild toys khaki trench coat

People are posting that they have two Superman figures and two Batman figures. I'm so jealous... :D

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

All of these Clark Kent mods look great, but to do an accurate custom Christopher Reeve CK, you've got to do more than remove Superman's curl. As Clark, he parts his hair in the completely opposite direction, and it lays a lot more flatly on his his head. I'm not sure I'd be willing to do the kind of heavy modding that that requires though.

I made this from a cast of the Hot Toys Reeve.

hi fella's,
this is the correct head that belongs on my clark kent, i did a switch just to show, but as you can see it needs work, the paint does not match the neck, it is off center, needs to sit a bit lower, so alot of work needs to be done, this was on my suited clark kent....but really needs to be on this for accuracy i guess....
