94 years old...a very good run...

A man loved by millions, very charming and very down to earth. He was my image of Alfred since i was a little kid...

Sad to see him go...

Mr. Gough was a terrific actor. He will be missed. Really enjoyed his work in Doctor Who with Peter Davidson back in the day in the story Arc of Infinity. He also played the Celestial Toymaker opposite William Hartnell's first doctor in the story of the same name. Good stuff.

Agreed... I think he was perfect for Burton's Batman But like others have said seems like he had a good run.
