finally got a Boba Fett and am totally digging it... but... how the ^%$^ do I remove his helmet? will applying force risk damaging it?


not that i mind, but i noticed the chest armor is not consistent with ESB...

Congrats Automaton.
To separate the helmet from the head you just need to heat up the head in the helmet with a hairdryer, wait til it's a lil soft, then use a long nose plier to pull and twist pull it off.

Not sure of the consistancy of the chest armor tho.

are the pliers twisting the helmet off of the head or the head out of the helmet?

The helmet is glued to the head so you need to pull them off from the body. Aneasy task.

Then heat up the head like the pic below(Move your hand away of course.)

When it's pretty hot and soft, use the long nose pliers and try to get a good hold of the inner head(the deeper the better), then twist and pull.

Looks like your Boba has suffered the same fate Jango did in AOTC...

Except that Jango's head goes flying out of the helmet by itself....

Got Boba today..great figure -came with the usual disfunctional velcro but all fixed and the Helmet on this one sits higher then some of the examples I've seen... To keep in on topic C'mon Jango!!
