Mattel ghostbusters body swap

Hi guys.

Has anyone ever swapped a body in a Mattel ghostbusters 12" figure??

Is it even possible?

It might be possible, but the heads would be very large for most 1/6 scale bodies. Maybe they would fit well on DC Direct 13" bodies, but I'm not sure if that's a significant upgrade from the stock bodies or not. If you want to go with a Truetype or something, then you should probably pick up custom heads as well. At which point, the accessories and flight suits can be used without much problem.
