This was a really good one. Can't wait for the finale next week. The after credits thing was also a nice touch.

is not the villain here. She's there because she sensed the magic, and she things Wanda is a dangerous being. I believe Agatha is there to save the town.

Excellent episode. I'm still not exactly sure where they're headed with the finale - several possibilities. As for Agatha,

I suppose there still could be a bigger bad (Mephisto?) behind her turning to the "darkest of magic" back in Salem, but IMO she was playing possum with her coven for the sole purpose of feeding off/stealing their power, and now sensing Wanda's power she's out to do more of the same. If the town is saved by Agatha's actions it will be pure coincidence, unless...

Wanda somehow releases her from the true big bad's control and they join forces to repel him. I'm wondering if the magic colors are a clue. The "good" witches of the coven used blue magic, red magic is usually associated with bad/evil (but also Wanda's), whereas Agatha's is purple, implying she's a bit of both. So perhaps Agatha's has a chance at redemption. Hopefully that's the case, as she's a fun character and would probably prove to be quite popular in a recurring role going forward.

Either a person is invested in the MCU by now or they are not.

The pandemic hiatus provided an unexpected but much needed respite so jumping back into the MCU feels fresh again.

The Wanda Vision relationship is being properly handled and provides the emotional connection driving the narrative forward.

I love the DC trinity they make for some of my favorite collectibles BUT WB has mucked it so bad I call it narrative whiplash there is just no emotional through line to latch onto christ they went from JP Joker to now the DCEU having 2 different Jokers and 2 different SS teams it never gives you enough time to care about anything

Can you imagine Marvel releasing a movie with IM, Cap or Thor head cut off in the actual film playing in the theater because of a contract dispute lol

I keep wondering about the property deed for that Westview residential plot that conveniently appeared on the passenger seat of Wanda's car. Was it legitimately something Vision bought for them "to grow old in", or was it planted there by someone as the final nudge needed to push her over the edge?

I don't think there ever was an expectation for a S2 given how this ties into a much bigger storyline. WandaVision is like an extended MCU film.

Wasn't it originally to be a movie in Phase 4? Was it always supposed to be a series, even before Disney thought about Disney+? I man, I guess Disney has been plotting Disney+ for many years so I guess it could have always been planned for that platform depending when they got it up.

I don't remember any plans for it prior to Disney+. I mean, they were pretty quiet about their plans post Infinity War/Endgame and Fox Acquisition, and everything after that came out well after they laid groundwork for Disney+. Disney+ would have been years in the making and it launched shortly after EG/Fox buyout (which were also years in the planning).

My guess is Feige and Co had multiple storylines to choose from and when things fell into place, settled in this direction.

I have heard of websites out there built solely for collectors that love to buy statues and figures from decades old franchises. I mean even minor characters with barely any dialogue or screen time get dedicated toys, and people pay hundreds of dollars for these.

I have never been to any of those sites, but we can all imagine they exist.

I think 100% they got Vision working now, but without the Mind Stone the Ultron part of him runs wild. I would not be shocked if Spader comes back to do the voice of White Vision.

about Agatha, but given she showed zero remorse over killing her entire coven IMO her being "good" would require her to have been completely controlled by some dark puppet master, with her true self completely suppressed - much like the townspeople under Wanda's spell. If it plays out that way a nice parallel but unlikely now given we have only one episode left and lots of storylines to (hopefully) complete - Agatha v. Wanda, Wanda v. White Vision, Monica & Darcy's fates, etc.. Plus I think the Agatha All Along reveal was played up way too much for them to give us yet another Big Bad at the 11th hour.

Then again, there was all that Devil name-dropping sprinkled through the earlier episodes, so I guess there's still a chance Mephisto or someone similar is still behind everything. Maybe he's also possessing Hayward and he wants to use White Vision to take out Wanda as she's the biggest threat to his plans to take over the world. How long is the finale - two or three hours, right?

p.s. - I think Agatha didn't absorb Wanda's power in the safety of her basement because she first wanted/needed to understand how to wield it.

When she creates the Vision, the magic's color indicates she is using power from the Mind Stone rather than just Chaos Magic (Vision was created with yellow magic). So maybe he has his own consciousness in addition to Wanda's.

Why was Vision questioning his own existence if he was just a construct of Wanda in other words he was an extension of her was he not

She created him, but it looks like she literally just made a new Vision, he's made from Vibranium and everything so it seems he's a full on copy of the original Vision, no memories, new mind stone and all judging by the yellow energy.

Both of their power comes from an infinity stone, if they are both equal in power then one wouldn't be able to fully control the other.

Also, I expect the finale to go a bit longer than these last episodes. They said the entire series was 9 hours. A lot of these were 30 mins long or so so there might be more content on the finale.
