I saw the Moroder version which I actually liked. But apparently this new version only has 2 more minutes than the longest known pre-existing print. Not sure how much more story 2 minutes can hold.

"Luke I am your father" only too 10 seconds... :lol

The documentary "Die Reise nach Metropolis" is 52 minutes long.

Or the missing Spider Pit scene from King Kong.

Great news on Met though, truly an amazing film. I remember seeing it in a theatre in the 1980s with that Rock Soundtrack. Anyone remember that CD with Billy Squier, etc? It was a great sndtrk.

That's the Moroder version. I actually bought that on DVD recently since I've never seen it. I figured I might as well see every version of Metropolis available.
