Logos for 1/6 clothing?

So...sorry, another newbie question this week, but what are the best/easiest/nicest looking ways to get logos (bat symbols, green lantern, that sort of thing) created to fabric? It seems like on most custom clothing I've got it's some kind of transfer, but I've never dealt with it, so hoping the experts here can help me

You can buy transfer paper from Wal-Mart that can be printed on then can be applied with an iron. Dark transfers are a little harder then light.
