I preordered from babygq, only 2 negative feedback, why is he a bad seller?

Babygq takes pre orders but NEVER ship out the item... I had to file a case with eBay after they started avoiding my phonecalls:

BABYGQ14 NEEDS TO BE BLOCKED:

Here is my story:

I purchased the Ironman Heartbreaker in April as a preorder through eBay and the seller was on top of all my messages and seemed friendly up until november when I got antsy and demanded my figure be shipped... the seller informed me it would be shipped the following day... well it never was... and from that moment on I did not hear from them through eBay...

So I called eBay and they said there was nothing they could do because it was purchased in April 2014 and it was now January 2015... but they DID give me their home number... I called dozens of times... only once again DID NOT hear from the seller... The seller was so rude that this person literally was ignoring my phone calls/texts (don't have an iMessage READ CONFIRMED message if you are not going to reply back lol)

Anyways, I called Ebay again and asked to speak to an "appealment specialist"

I spent an hour on the phone with her explaining the situation, her name was Ashley and she literally told me she, "had never heard of this happening before." She explained that eBay DOES NOT protect their SELLERS when it comes to a pre order item, BUT IT DOES PROTECT THE BUYER aka YOU!

The only problem she could see with me not getting a refund was that the actual Heartbreaker was released in November and I waited till January to contact her (even though I had been on the phone with Ebay the entire month of January)... A week later I have the money ($245.00) deposited into my paypal account... I have still yet to hear from this scam artist

And stay away from babygq14

Did you not leave negative feedback?

You can't leave negative feedback when the listing passes 90 days, I believe it is. Since these are pre-orders that basically can exceed the time limits -think sideshow and hot toys delays- you are left with no recourse. I just went through all this with TNS FIGURES, and now I may be the next victim of babygq14 as I have 2 pre-orders with them from back in May and August. It's too bad because I've dealt with both these sellers in the past with great success. Seems all of a sudden these sellers are just taking the money and disappearing. :dunno

DON'T BUY ANYTHING YOU THINK YOU MAY HAVE TO RETURN FROM:
girard1222 (north Carolina)
*I was ripped off over a $15.00 item. Angela Girard LIED to me about sending a refund in two days, which I never got but why not be polite and send it now? especially when it was already 3.5 weeks overdue. Too many ebayers either don't want to communicate or don't know how to. But when Customer Service is in the balance girard1222 still declined contact.
*Ebay's return policy is that the buyer gets the refund within 6 days that the seller receives it back. That was something I thought I could depend on two months ago. It said "Hassle free returns" on the item's page. Hardly. If she still refuses to wake up and respond, to paypal again (second time I've called them), when the case "times out" in 10 days I'll get my refund, 'tho its another 2 weeks tacked on to the two months I've waited in vain.

I'M GLAD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT DEALT WITH BABYGQ14

My Story:

When I was new to Hot Toys, I pre-ordered the Iron Man MK42 in July '14. A month before release. Communication with this seller was no problem. After mid- August I checked to see if item was in stock. My response was "should be here next week." Next week passes of course. So the seller's next response is "there was a shoulder defect. Item has been delayed to October" Fortunately for them, that story was true. So I wait another full month in ignorance because I didn't want to bug the seller.

After seeing other posters showing their MK42's for weeks, I randomly decided to google Babygq14. I was not too surprised to see complaints on forums about this individual, but I was floored to actually see complaints on eBay's own forums. The customers (victims) who were duped didn't do anything about it. They took their $200 to $350 they spent as a loss. I'm thinking "heeeeeeeelllllllllllll naaaaaaaawww"

So I send a message to Babygq14, confronting (her) about multiple customers not getting their pre-orders. After no response for a couple of weeks, her typical answer was "should be here next week" and then a "do you not want the figure?"

After that I took it to the next level. I responded that I have links of other users posts stating they were screwed over, and I have presented them to US Cyber-Crimes Division :wink1: Since it was past the 45 day eBay policy, I demanded my money back in full from her and I would drop the case. Surprisingly, I get an immediate response of " we have this in stock ready to ship (bs). You don't want figure?" followed by "you don't have to threaten me. Sending refund" I got my refund 10 minutes later and babygq14 mystically disappeared from eBay as I tried to see if she was still running her scheme.

I really hope this seller is no longer on ebay.

I've had really bad experiences with vovotrade_hot. Bought 2 speakers from them and kept emailing about it not coming. Eventually they stopped replying, the speakers never came and I never got the money back and at that point eBay couldn't help much because it was after the 30 days. First bad experience on ebay. It put me off for a while. Then more recently I bought a dress from liliantan624. Took like 3 months to get here and it looks so cheaply made.amd I had to pay for shopping and customs. I would sell it rather than return to get the money back but doubt anyone would buy it.

I threatened her as well after I got all her REAL information/other phone numbers/home address... never heard anything back from her, just saw "read" text receipts on my iPhone.

I am sure she still is just using a different name, after all it is good money... I have no doubt in my mind that she created another eBay account and is doing the same thing over again (I mean LOOK at all the preorders on eBay (even though eBay policy states they are not allowed to sell preorders, yet there is NOTHING from preventing sellers to do so). eBay is COMPLETE crap (even though I got my money back I stand by this statement as they have screwed me over in the past two months (for little amounts but still)).

I read something once... never spend money/sell anything on eBay that you are not afraid to loose/throw away

dont deal with Jedisword

he is a scam artist, a friend of mine bought a item, it arrived completly shattered and he wouldnt help didnt use insurance and insisted on paypal gift

he is nothing but scam artist,

he reported him to the FBI

insisted on paypal gift

Through ebay?

You/your friend can report him through ebay messages since that was the ONLY way the seller could have recommended "pay as gift." Ebay should give you your money back... Explain the situation and as I said in my previous posts don't take "no we can't do anything" for an answer... Keep calling and talking to someone who can help you :)

Bad buyer
gooseheadergooseheader

I sent 1 message 2 days after he did not pay simply asking for a reply (never asked for payment)
He messaged me stating he will make me wait longer for payment and that he will leave me negative feedback.
I canceled the order and explained to him i cannot do business with someone who threatens me
he then paid for the order! i refunded immediately and he left me false negative feedback.
he then proceeded to harass me by mail and wrote
Can't help to notice your rating went down to 99.3%. That's just very unfortunate after he destroyed my perfect 100% on purpose.

PLEAS AVOID THIS GUY HE BLACKMAILS AND ABUSES EBAY SYSTEMS AND IS ONLY RESPONSIVE WHEN HE HAS SOMETHING BAD TO OFFER
