Are you saying why do they buy the TOTS version when they already have a version that cost $2000? I think it has to do with wanting to compare first-hand. If they have the disposable income, then why not.

This guy is a goon. I appreciate his review though... It highlights how minor the differences are in the $2000 version. The red lettering matches the buttons...ohhh yea...that's where that money is! the bottoms of the shoes on the TOTS version are plastic looking...absolutely! $2000 price point is 100% justified!

personally if I bought the $2000 version I would feel like I've been HAD, taken to the cleaners, got-got.

with that said, this doll and the Good Guy box it comes in for $500 is an excellent value.

I wouldn’t spend 2000 for anything unless I was rich or really wanted it. My collecting limit is 500 or a bit higher.

Got mine today!

I ordered directly from TOTS so no special sticker on inside box flap. Quick comparison with the Dream Rush version, which is way too big and not at all accurate...
