Hey all! I'm looking to mod one of my figures with LEDs behind the eyes and lighting strips, to achieve this kind of look:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0sm_FViAo0
I have a soldering iron, adhesives and other basic materials, but I've never installed LEDs in a toy before and I'd like to know if there's anything I should watch out for or pay special attention to. For example, how do I pick out a cell? What's a good way to design a simple switch so I could easily break the circuit and turn the lights off? On the more sophisticated end, could I perhaps use a small switch that responds to infra-red signals, so it could be remote-controlled?
Any pointers you have are welcome!
