Re: LasVegasYankee custom help

Nice Lopie. Looking sweet!! :clap

I actually like that head. It looks like the guy from the video game, Star Wars The Force Unleashed. I vote to keep it.

I'll try to cut the neck and see how it looks, and thanks

Re: LasVegasYankee custom help

Yeah man, it's original, creative and authentic. Consider keeping that head sculpt.

Re: LasVegasYankee custom help

Here is my evolution of my Starkiller I used a HT slim then I went with a HT muscle and I like it a lot better. Just have to find a head now.

What do you make the belts from Lopie, they look awesome

Re: LasVegasYankee custom help

I took your advice and cut the neck on the old head, here are a few pics.
I just have to remake a few bandages and weather him up and I'll be done.

As for the belt I used bits from an old men's belt I had laying around.

Re: LasVegasYankee custom help

Here is the type of belt I used. I hope that helps.

Gives me ideas, it does.

(Dammit, slipped into Yoda speak I have. Long week it has been.)

My HT TTM21 has shipped from SSC. Should be here Monday. :yess:

I'll be going to some thrift stores over the weekend looking for costume stuff for an upcoming comic convention. I'll be looking at the belt sections also. Hopefully I'll find something I can use.

Also thinking about going with "flight pants" type for my jedi. Any suggestions where I can find a pair of Skywalker Bespin pants or similar would be appreciated.

Re: LasVegasYankee custom help

Looks a lot better with the neck less sculpt... Why do I never think of the obvious when doing customs ( a belt of course :gah: )

I've been to a few thrift stores looking for stuff I could possibly use. I think some of you guys got there before me. Haven't found anything usable... yet.

I'll be updating my first post with stuff I'm looking for.

Re: LasVegasYankee custom help

So, I started fiddling around with some of the extra GI Joe stuff I had laying around. This is what I came up with.

Mind you, this is my first attempt at a custom anything.

I figured if my troopers my needed to blow up something big, they should have the appropriate hardware. Next step is painting.
