Wow, wasn't this announced in 2007? Seems so long ago. After RDR I am game for anything, although another installment in the RED DEAD series would be great.

Looks very good. As a history lover this is an era of American History I find very interesting. Graphics look great and if they can follow how awesome RDR was (SP wise) then this should be well worth getting.
 
L.A. Noire? Or L.A. Confidential the game?

With either way it's pretty sweet.
 
I'm wondering what they used for that, normally for faces you don't have enough geometry to get those types of full face animation. So they could use normal map blending to do that, but it seems they would need a lot of that and if they did use normal maps then they could have added more detail to the face--fine wrinkles and such.

Perhaps they're doing some kind of performance capture that does realtime scanning rather than using facial markers--they did something like that for Superman Returns
