OK

Saying something is @#%$ is not an opinion thats a statement! An opinion is giving reasons why you don't like something.

Let’s start with you, why can’t you let someone have a different opinion then you??

As I said when someone can say its more than @#%$ or something else like calling a piece cartoony without more detail as to why, then those are not opinions those are statements. If you have an opinion against something I will debate it some and then go on my merry way.

Please do!!!

then go on my merry way

That will be the day..............

J, Like I said let opinions other then yours be said, regardless if someone has a 10 page dissertation or has those 2 words (it sucks) it’s an opinion!!! Let it rest………PLEASE>>>>>>>>> : horse

I'm afraid that a statement and an opinion are not mutually exclusive. A statement can be an opinion and an opinion can be a statement.

Stating that a statue is **** is a statement and is also expressing an opinion.

Out of interest, Josh, what subject(s) will you be teaching?

I guessed that!

What is it? My guess would be something like Geography, History or Primary School Teacher (5 - 11 year olds).

Nope, though I do really like History and am thinking about adding that to my certification by taking a few more classes and a test. I will actually teach high school business classes (9-12). Classes like keyboarding, accounting, business law, marketing, economics, word processing, computer technology, etc.

I would say that will be a lot more interesting than history or geography. At least it is something practical which can be used in the 'real world'.

Well, I do find geography to be pretty boring I think at History can be a very fun subject to teach. It all depends on the person teaching as you know. Business classes though are a lot of fun for me cause I like to do a lot of projects where the students get to use 'real world' situations. My exeperience has been the kids really enjoy this. I also do projects that allow the kids to talk about stuff they like using the skills they have learned in say a Computer Technology course.

They will find it more interesting. I have also taught some ICT (as a separate subject and within mathematics) and the main thing is keeping them on task instead on games, cheats or porn!

Yeah, I've noticed they do like to sneak on the net. The school I did my student teaching at though allowed us to see what the kids where looking at. So if they did get off track you could quietly get them back on without getting the whole class off track.

Re: ,

I thought the Mumak was 'for the fans' as they (SS) said it always came top in fan polls....and I thought PJ was just Weta's 'thank you' statue. Either way, I like both! Although I do need to see the Mumak in person to be convinced...I can't see why I wouldnt like it, it is a Weta Mumak after all!
