Jean "Moebius" Giraud has died

Another great artist has passed. I've been a Moebius fan ever since I saw his work for Metal Hurlant and ALIEN back in the 70s. I've collected his books and prints for years.

Sad news indeed which I heard from Stan Sakai. I'm going to HAVE to finally track down an Alien graphic novel. Such an Alien and comic book fan, I'm ashamed to admit I don't have a copy...

Honestly, I didn't get a chance to see much of his art, but he surely was one of the Greatest. Will be on a look out for his work now. His only pin-up I have framed/displayed is this one.
