Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

WOW! Amazing work, T-squared. Just beautiful -- especially that Moore.

I really wish people would post more pictures of these figures on a body and dressed for action. Especially Moore. As silly as his films became, he's still the longest player of the bunch and has a couple good movies under his belt (unlike everyone else but Connery).

Thanks, man! I really appreciate that. But yeah, you're right. There hasn't been many finished full figgys of these Bonds... I've only seen a few, and I don't even know if I've seen a Moore yet. My buddy who I painted this for is very excited to get his figure together, but he's not on SSF. When he gets it all together I'm sure he'd be thrilled if I shared some pics in here. Thanks again for the kind words, man.

My pleasure, and well earned. Your skills have really jumped leaps and bounds in a very short time, and I mean that in the most respectful way.

I know you're a fan of the finer things, and talented artists like Jake, so believe me when I say I really, really appreciate that. May have even made my day. Cheers, bud. Plenty more on the way. [emoji6]

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

The Blackbox Toys Craig is available from China sellers on ebay but I'm still going to wait for the US release to get it since the price is lower.

I personally think the HS looks better than the Eleven sculpt from what I can tell.

Just wish there were pics of the suit. The HS is noticeably different from the prototype photos so I wonder if they ended up adding the pattern.

At quick glance, I thought those recent Craig sculpts on eBay were Eleven's. On the suit, I agree, hopefully what we were shown were quickie mock-ups and that the production versions will have the subtle check pattern and a snugger fit.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

That sculpt is pretty good, but I think I still prefer the Eleven sculpt. Neither has the eyes right though, not piercing enough.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Again, I think this looks terrible.

For me it's still the BBkill 2.0 and the eleven is the best of the suitable mass offer

Seeing the modern life in person it's one of the better efforts also

Blast from the Past....

Finally got around to finishing up a rebuild of the old Sideshow "Bond Spy" outfit from Goldfinger. New pants, new polo shirt, Sideshow sweater retailored and a completely rebuilt backpack (without the turquoise straps)... the sculpt remains the same but was repainted a long, long time ago by Les Walker.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Beautiful update, Wor-Gar! Though heavily worked-over, I love the old Sideshow Bonds that are our "modern classics" and particularly on you keeping the sculpt, albeit repainted.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Another awesome figure, Greg! It is always wonderful seeing your Bond customs and the black sneaking suit is still a favorite look of mine from the Connery era. :)

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Thanks guys! Appreciate the kind words.

There is something about the old -- now classic -- Sideshow Bond sculpt. For nostalgia sake, I'm keeping Sideshow's Dr No Connery and this Goldfinger one, as well as the Thunderball one (dive mask on for that one though :lol)

But I do believe I will upgrade the lanky body...

I'm also working on an original companion piece for this. Anyone guess what it is...? :D

His "fly away"machine on the back and helmet?

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

The oldies can sometimes be goodies, Wor-Gar has more than proved that.

Thanks, Roger!

anyone find a good 3-piece gray suit for a Goldfinger bond?

I have never found a suitable one with vest and all, that's why I went in on Yunsil's suit project. If you can find one of those for sale, grab it.

Nope, it's a "companion piece" to the one above. Tease coming soon.

Thanks for the pic. Glad to know the sculpt isn't the Eleven. This one looks like its good for Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace IMO
