3D color printed stuff doesn't look very good, so first they'd have to invent a brand new technology. Hand-painted is always going to be the best, but unless you have an assembly-line situation set up, you're always going to pay commission-style prices.

Ok, more images coming, they're uploading to Photobucket right now. I probably should never have posted about the size being small, it would have been a lot easier to resell this sculpt. But I'm such a nice and honest guy, I just had to show you guys what's what with this one.

So after closer inspection I can't see this being a recasting issue. The features all seem the correct size, it's the volume that's really off, mostly because of depth and a bit of width.

Just hanging around:



From the front, everything looks all right for the most part. The Craig sculpt is pretty much 1/7 the total height of a headed body the way it should be and you can see the faces on all three of these guys look very closely sized in terms of height.



Now when you see a direct profile shot the difference in size becomes more obvious.



When you look at the sculpts on-end you can really see a size difference:



More shallow field of view (camera angle):



The heads sideways so you don't have to crane your neck to compare width:



Clothed (jacket) shot on a Narrow Shoulder Hot Toys-style knock-off body. Jacket is from the Chris Costa military trainer figure:

Yeah, I know, pity though. I'm going to spend the time it'll take the BBKill one to be done practicing painting the current BBKill one. By the time I've done a job I'm happy with the new head should be out!

I'll get there if it kills me, LOL!

As you can see from these shots, once you have clothes on this sculpt it CAN work.





And below you can see close-ups of how the head sculpts sit on the same neck. You'll notice the Craig sculpt's chin comes further down on the neck peg.

Yup. Too tiny. Shame because I like the likeness and the price works for the poorer collectors out there. ZCWO is still the better option for a mass produced head. Love the shots above! If BBKill's printout doesn't turn out nicely, I'm going with that one.

Here he is. All I can say is, it is much better in hand than via photos. This, to me, is the best mass-produced Bond/Tux money can buy, period. I am very happy with it.

(Sorry for lack of poses. I don't like posing figures too much in case the clothes crease!)

Head appears too small in proportion to the body. If I didn't already know this was "suppose" to be Daniel Craig I would have guessed the sculptor was trying for G W Bush. This sculpt and Craig both have blue eyes so they got that part right. The rest not so much.

I like it enough--hair could be lighter, but the price is right. Not sure if I want him in the Asmus suit or the tux though...

I like the sculpt besides the hair. Is there any time in Casino Royale when Daniel Craig's hair looks like it is just parted from the side like this sculpt? The reference photos I'm seeing all have DC with a kind of pointy, hair-gel look.

Just me?

Edit: Hmm...I thought my quote had a picture of the ZWCO sculpt in it. Forgive this posting oversight.

its the Medicom cowboys and Aliens Daniel Craig sculpt I think his characters name was Jake lonergan. I hope that helps.

From the pics Elvis posted I can see what you mean, it has much the same flaws as the Brother one does.

No, there's no news from BBKill, he can't work miracles overnight. We have to give him time and not constantly post "Any news!?". When he has something to show you can rest assured we'll know about it. When you're subscribed to a thread you get emails about updates.

LOL, sorry to lecture, but you hit on one of my pet peeves!

Personally of all the heads available that is my favourite so far but it's just a matter of taste.
