Thanks for the pics. That Evans sculpt does look really soft. Even the helmeted one looks like it lacks depth and would maybe benefit from a skilled touch up. The weathering on the suit looks pretty nice though.

And thanks for the input about the loose bits floating around inside the base and statue itself. This is what I was afraid of when I saw the weight discrepancy between IW Thanos and Endgame Thanos. It seems they have probably gone cheap on materials.

A lot of statues and especially their bases are hollow.

I’ve even had extremely heavy bases which turned up hollow in sections.

I’ve been collecting a lot of 1/3 scale statues, and I would hazard a guess that most of them are partially hollow, otherwise they would be impossible to move.

As long as the statue has a bit of heft and not feather light I’m usually happy.

I know many people think it's no big deal but I'm not one of those. The IW Thanos has appropriate heft for a statue that is that size and cost. I really like that statue. I personally don't have anything 1/3 scale so no experience with those pieces.

I don?t think he?s any more light then other pieces I own of equal size. He is def hollow in places for sure but that?s almost all statues nowadays. You guys can judge for urself but the portraits look good to me. Not quite proto but pretty damn close. I?m happy with mine. Looking forward to Thor and pairing them!!

Thanks for the pics, he looks great considering the cellphone quality! Congrats, I?m excited to get mine soon!

Think your photos look great actually and show some terrific weathering. Re the sculpt - yeah, IMO a bit soft but definitely Evans - for a STATUE may be ok for me, to be a bit stylized. Tho kinda surprised after the stellar Bucky and Falcon work. Think it's the lower part of the face maybe too soft around the jaw. Anyway, hey, this piece has a switchout!

Mine is due Thursday!

Here is mine! He looks great. the unmasked head is mehhhhh but I was never going to use that for display. With masked and mjolnir, he is absolutely epic! I will say mjolnir feels like really cheap plastic but I guess since it displays fine, it's all good:lol I actually had a loose piece rattling around in the base and cap's body so I'm a tad concerned about that...moreso about the piece inside the body. But display wise, he is fantastic! Also, forgive the terrible iphone pics...the details are all there! I'm sure someone will post much nicer pics soon. Just wanted people to rest easy that the statue is a winner!

Nice! How does it feel knowing you're the first to post pictures of it?

I agree the face looks a bit soft but everything else looks so damn good that I might actually look into somebody giving the masked headsculpt a little extra work to make it better. Then it?ll be the perfect MCU Cap statue.

looks great, except Cap looks sad for some reason. I think they should've gone for a more stoic expression.

Yea, I suppose a more fierce brow could have been cool. I think maybe they were trying to capture that feeling when he was alone before everyone showed up via the portals.

Some pictures from Kessiah, at Statue forums. Looks almost exactly like the Prototype. Got give kudos at how consistent they are with their products.

Looks like the base might have a bit more effort in it compared to past releases. It looks well finished.
This really looks great. Can't wait!

Maybe so. The grey at the bottom still looks fairly bland, but once you’re passed that it looks okay.
