I'm wondering if anyone has tried to replace a Detolf cabinet's base. My office is in our basement and this weekend I discovered a leaky bathtub caused the carpet behind the cabinets to get wet and some sort of mildew or fungus collected behind the cabinets. The moisture and ick warped the bases of two of my three cabinets. I'm very fortunate the contents of the cabinets weren't damaged being that I had nothing on the bottom shelves. It could have been really bad considering I had a Hot Toys Mark I Iron Man in there.
My question is has anyone out there had any luck getting a replacement base and swapping it out. Would I have to take the entire cabinet apartment to replace the bases? And is that even worth it?
