Ideas for a custom Red Dead Redemption figure?

I just saw a message from "sunohc" about the possibility of him making a custom John Marston head sculpt. I'm asking him in the Red Dead Redemption game thread here about it:

Hopefully he will be able to do it for us! If you haven't seen his incredible casting work check out his website through his signature image! I love his work! Wow! If he did the head sculpt for us it would be SO great! Who else would buy a head sculpt from him of John Marston? Please let me know here. If we get enough people hopefully he will do one for us. Let's start a list here now of interested board members. I'll sign it first:

I just got Sunohc's permission to add his comments to this thread from the other thread for the game. I have given him the link to our thread here, and he should be commenting here sometime soon. Here's one quote from him now...

"because this is a video game character, I think it'll be a little easier than trying to match a real life likeness so i'm very much considering it.
Lord Vicious just sent me some reference pictures but if you guys know of any other good reference pictures thatd help. Some of the artwork on the game seems to differ slightly so I'm wondering which to go with for expression, etc."

If anyone has some great pictures of John Marston's face, especially the side views of his face...please post them here so that Sunohc can use them for reference in making the head sculpt for us. He is also interested in making John Marston's unique hat for us to go with the head sculpt! That's GREAT news isn't it?

Thank you Lord Vicious. I wish I had a scanner. I have the official strategy guide for the game, and I could scan in pictures of all of the weapons in the game. Wait...my father-in-law has a scanner. Okay, I'll try to do that soon. Maybe even scan in some better pictures of John Marston from the guide book too!

Hi folks! Yes, I do MOST of the guns, including the Mauser pistol, but not the volcanic pistol, or teh Carcano Rifle" or "Evan's Reapeater" or the Krag... and the more modern pre ww1 ones... but I do the Henry, Sharps, Spencer, Schofield, 73 Colt, I do a 38 similar the the New Army, I do a Lemat... I can do the rigs too... my idea wold be to make a standard rig with hat and bandolier that would sell for a set amount, along the prices of my normak rigs and hats, then each customizer could just add which ever weapons that suit them best... I want a rig from you Steve that is as accurate to John Marston's as you can get it. I'm also interested in a hat. I found an answer from Rockstar yesterday in a recent Q&A about Marston's hat and they said this:

"John Marston wears a "Light Center Crease, modified-Cattleman" hat."

I notice that his hat appears to be black, and has some "battle-damage" to it with many cuts and missing pieces in it. He has a dark-colored hat band with silver "circles" in it, and wears a small feather in the band on the front right side.

A bandolier with shells in it would be great too! I'm interested in one of those too.
