I noticed that some use gloves whenever handling their statues...

Whaaat? Seriously? What statues?!

Mostly metallic paints and candy coats that are on Bishoujos and some Bowens.

You will see more people doing this with HT figures too. I didn't think much of it until HT released their SW troopers. I feel the need to use gloves or something when handling the white troopers because I fear that oils from my hand might cause yellowing over time. I didn't do this with Medicom troops and they seem to be alright, but the OCD in me kinda wants to use gloves with the HT figures.

But with statues, I don't bother. (Although I only have a handful)

I just got my first signed Bowen Statue, and carried it into my Detolf with paper towels. I think my hands were sweating slightly just from nerves. So of course, after ordering jewelry gloves on Amazon, I had to google this topic.

Thank God for fellow Freaks. (And I mean that in the best way possible. )
