so no official news/ announcements?? dude on fb group claims there was an article of an interview with ht during hk toy fair that said new releases coming in 2012, can any one validate this?

A member here said he'd seen a T2 BD prototype. The problem with Hot Toys is, they say anything they want in interviews, which some interpret as concrete but often is just wishful thinking, there are mis-translations of interviews, there have been prototypes developed and not released.

Sadly, until an official teaser image or announcement comes, you can't count on anything with HT, and we've had no such thing regarding Terminator collectibles. This year is the 20th anniversary of T2, a perfect time to put out a final T-800 or two from that film, and they've only got 2 months left just to show off a proto in that year.

As has been said, hopefully their feud with Enterbay will be stirred up by the success and praise for EB's T-800 and get HT off their butts to fight back.
