I've got a buyer from France today who's just filed a chargeback with their credit card claiming the transaction was unauthorized. This is part of my daily business. Software license sent by email to his email address. Hardware sent by postal mail to his billing address in mid July. How on earth can someone in their right mind claim the transaction is unauthorized? Do a lot of identity thieves order products for the victim's they're stealing credit cards from by shipping to their billing address? :slap

I can already see how this will go. I sent the buyer an email to which I will no doubt receive no reply. This has happened before and with one exception it's always a case of the buyer trying to rip me off. The exception was where the wife of a buyer disputed the charge as she didn't recognize it on their statement - they re-paid me afterwards.
