I don't know if anyone else has this issue, but my SS Indy has quite a loose body. He always seems to slouch. How do I make it a bit tighter?

Thanks! :whip

I switched my Indy to a True Type but there have been some on the board that have taken the Pro apart and put a dab of superglue on the joints, let them dry, then reassembled it. It seems to tighten them up.

I'm going to try it on my Stormies since they're unable to stand on there own.

Any really, no matter what, the skincolor will not mach the headsculpt unless you paint the exposed chest of the body, so just go with a caucasion, which is all that is avaliable at the moment.

As for the shoues, there is a thread here in the indy discusson about more or less perfegct shoes for him.

Another option is adapting the pro legs to fit the truetype body.

For the record, you don't Disassemble the Pro body to sdo the supergluie trick, you simply strip him naked, put a dab into the cracks on the joints, and move the joint untill it dries. It's ALO easier than it sounds. It's also how i fixed mine.

The Best, EASIEST, and CHEAPEST option, however, is to simply buy a cobra commander Pro body. Or ANY pro body released SINCE the commander. sideshow has fixed the floppy joints from the commander on, and Prometheus bodies are generaly 15-20$, compared to 30-40$ on truetypes, and that's BEFORE shipping.

If you did want to go the True Type route then I recommend the narrow shouldered one or ,if you can wait, I think the new Slim TT is going to be perfect for him. And just FYI the shoes that came with Indy will fit on the True Type without any modifications.

Just use the Sideshow boots. Heat them up, pull the Sideshow pegs out and pop the HT footpegs in. They fit perfectly and will also fit perfectly into the TT.

So, SideShow DID fix the "issues" with the Pro body and the loose joints or is it really still just "hit or miss" when it comes to the new body?

Isn't the head a little to big for the TT though? I was messing with a spare TT I had with a long neck and thought it looked a little out of proportion.

So, is SideShow selling that newer Prometheus Body by itself? I looked over at their website and all I can find for sale are the TT bodys.

I'd like to get a new Pro body for my Raiders Indy figure without having to shell out $90 for a whole other figure to gut just so I can use the new body. :)

I have recently upgraded the the Hot Toys TT body (with 1.75 CM in length added to the torso). I think that it is PERFECT now. The new Hot Toys is the one on the left, the previous version (the Ace Dan body) is on the right:

Just so you have an idea as to the history of the revisions: The original Sideshow on the left, with the Ace Dan body Indy's on the right:
