About Apexplorers part 2 / Apexworkbot
In 2100, the situation on earth was very bad because of natural disasters.
In October, the “International World Security Alliance” announced that Adam, the founder of the Apempire, will cooperate with the Earth and activate a new project named “Easter Island”. Apexworkbot will be transferred to the earth with construction machineries and industrial rescue techniques.
The “Easter Island” project will be initiated in Sichuan. New kind of metal energy is found. It was defined as innovative renewable energy. It has super kinetic power in pollution-free circumstances. The scientists in the worldwide immediately headed to Sichuan to study on it.
The first priority of "Easter Island" project is to build the “Easter Island Industrial University”. Advanced technology from Apempire enables the crippled to have limb-sparing surgery. They will be well trained to work on the “Easter Island” project.
The Chinese government also built “Noah Plaza”. It can hold hundred millions of population to survive the severe disasters. Noah Plaza is 100 kilometers below the ground, with three shelter floors. Among the layers, there will be highly secured biological persevere center for DNA of different living species.
“Easter Island Industrial University” and “Noah Plaza” is the key to a brighter future for human. I am sure; the Earth's rebirth is just around the corner!
About Double U
The first generation of the Apexworkbot was announced as “Double U – 01”. Double U stands for W, with the meaning of “warmth”.
They have high body temperature, as well as high level of rescue techniques and knowledge, which enable them to work effectively in cold environment. In these extreme frosty and challenging operations, body warmth is the most crucial element to keep ones’ lives.

Looks cool. I think I prefer the white one, not that I'm going to buy it though. would look even better if it came with weapons.
Looks like no one has posted anything yet, so here are some pics.
What to say about it.. I like rusty textures and wanted to see how it would compare to 3A's ones. Those who own 3A's know how they can master metallic textures (I can't wait for the Portal bots).
Here it's different. While 3A comes from the designer toys world & its random quality, here it's much more controlled. There's a base of shading, with 2 color layers (masks or decals I don't know) for the scratches.
Would it pass for metal (like 3A's large Popbots can)? Not really, as you can see by the pics. But it still looks good & is precisely done, overall it's nice, it's more like a cartoon shading.
It's a bit taller than the average 1/6 human HT, and weights nothing.
Now the articulation is.. zero. The legs have zero useful articulation, and one arm is fully glued! It doesn't look glued by paint, it really looks like they glued the main 2 articulations of the right arm, which is sad.
The light up eyes are a nice addition.

I had doubts because on many shots that arm looks the same. But yeah, it has to be articulated because it would make no sense otherwise.
Fortunately it wasn't glued in a stupid pose.
I forced it as much as I could without breaking it, it's sure it's glued, and there even is visible glue on the elbow joint. It's quite possible that it was so loose that they ended up glueing it.
