I'm more interested to know when Sideshow is going to get enough stock to service all their own customers.

I doubt the cargo ship/port issues are not going to be fixed anytime soon.

As much as I like that V1 Mando I can't afford everything. It's a choice between an extra Mando or a new character and I'd rather have more characters.

Yeah, don't feel bad about needing to curate your collection or make rules for yourself. For the longest time I only collected female figures because I could only afford so many and so I had to be choosy about which ones I got, so I chose my favourite characters. I also never used to get duplicates of a single character (ie Avengers 1 Black Widow has been my only BW until this year when I finally bought the Endgame version).

So in this case I definitely say go Beskar Mando + Child. You're getting more accessories, the baby, and also the Look that Din's had for the majority of season 1 and 2.

Wallet and available space dictates that. Also, if I buy a second figure of a character, my completionist instincts will take over me.
So, one figure per character is the way for me.

I'm in no hurry. My last payment is in April.

Nope. We met got an update from our Ocean Carrier and this is going to persist into at least Q3. Delays to port (container availability) are now ~3 weeks and from port to distribution center are also seeing 3 week delay. This is mainly the issue in LA Ports. Total 6 weeks delay door to door.

Have to learn discipline yourself. Think of it as you are on budget you got enough for 2 figures but can buy two of the same character or save up by buying one, So you can get new character. (Future release)

I?m still waiting. Truth be told, I have lost all enthusiasm for this figure. I think I?m going to sell it or try to trade it for something else.

Do you have the original? I originally ordered this since it had everything (tons of accessories, child), then ended up being so impressed with the original outfit final product pics so I bought that. When this version arrived I just kept some accessories, the Grogus, and then sold off Mando -- never even took the plastic off the limbs etc. There will be other chances for a full Beskar Mando and in the mean time I can keep enjoying the OG one.

Yeah it was tough to do but I have quite a few other lithos I paid a lot more for that I couldn?t dare think of cutting. I do have a second print of this ?Best In the Parsec? which made my decision easier. Got one for work too, but it now looks like my job will be permanently from home so it?ll just stay in the shipping tube.

U sound like you know more about lithographs than I do - but, suspect the more valuable SW artwork is before large scale printers were readily available, and selling by the 'net. Seems like there is a lot of Mando prints around.

Also IMO - if u can't enjoy what u buy the way U want, might as well trim/alter etc. Unless folks are really buying as a potential investment, which is probably something for specialists.

Many do, I guess, but I never buy a fig thinking about the resell value either. Apparently there was a comic frenzy a while back and then the whole thing collapsed; the beanie baby frenzy, etc.

Well, I'm sick then, 'coz I own 2 V1 Mando. Partly 'coz of the shoulder armor, and also the long tattered cape, and - I just like origin figs. Like rescue Cap, WS V1, Falcon V1...I like having a character arc on the shelf.

Other times I'm just one fig, and am good, like with War Machine and Hawkeye so far. This Beskar version is so loaded I might have gone for a second - but, waiting on V3. Figure anything else after the Beskar version is gonna be a variant anyway.

What. I feel *warm and fuzzy* about my duplicates. More comfortable about doing 'bashes or display options (like Ragnarok Loki). Or Qui-Gon or - IW Bucky, esp. since the D+ series cut his hair. Feel worse about certain figs I talked myself out of.

Especially now, as prices climb.

That's gorgeous and I'm not even a fan of the character. I like prints - but only have a few that are of (probable) value, like a limited edition TWS print (unfortunately also a non-standard size). Your Mando print is one of the ones I've seen I like best so far. I was gonna put a better background on my shelves, but debating on a paint wash or textured (sand) wallpaper.

I'm sure I'll end up with multiple versions of Din as I will Boba and other characters but I like to pre-order and use payment plans.

Since I only started collecting Star Wars in January it would be expensive to get that V1 Mando now and come at the expense of another character.

Still enjoying all the pics and display options being posted. My order from Toys Buying Agent should be here any day now, having finally touched down in OZ.
Can't wait to display next to the OG Mando as well. I was planning on picking up all the characters in Mando armour but have had to put the brakes on collecting. Pretty happy to have the 2x Mandos (and Grogu!) representing the series for now.

Did you buy after he had them in stock or were you second batch? I'm still waiting for second batch with him.

I have a season 1 Mando, and then I'm gonna need season 2 Mando because... I'm like that. I call these obsessions "keeping my collection focused."

That new Scarlet Witch is gorgeous! But she's a no, because "keeping my collection focused." So it works, some of the time. She simply wont fit on my Shelf of Mandalorian Badassitude. [She WOULD fit down there with my other Marvel people, but I'm not hearing their pleas just now.] I wont buy her so that maybe if we get Fennec later, I can buy Fennec with less pain.

I know where you coming from even i can neglect my own point, I got two Daredevil on Red Suit and the Other is Man in Black (Season 1) got 2x Durasteel Mando and 2x Beskar Mando for customs. I'm gonna have to spend money more wisely now that i budget myself. Hopefully you can too but it your money i can only advised you.
