Before I discuss the review tonight, I'd like to offer condolences on the loss of one of our fellow collectors this weekend, Lance Garcia. I never had the privilege of meeting Lance in person, but online I knew him as a warm, considerate, helpful collector, and the online community will surely miss him. My thoughts go out to his family and friends in this time of sorrow.

Tonight's review is of the latest Star Wars sixth scale release from Hot Toys - Boba Fett! This is a Return of the Jedi incarnation, and I'm looking at the deluxe version that includes the Pit of Carkoon. Check it out here:

Always enjoy your reviews. A question thou. U compared it to the ssc fett but how does it compare to the medicom one ?

No real comparison. While Medicom was great ten years ago (if you didn't mind the shrimpy scale), they quality of the HT stuff is well past that.

They also did a ROTJ version that was slightly taller.

Yea, I never picked up their ROTJ version. I was never a huge fan of Medicom to begin with, and felt other companies like Hot Toys and Enterbay left them behind pretty quickly.

I ask because I have both medicom bobas and love them - I have modified them. I also have the medicom jango and bought the sideshow one and hated it.
But boba hot toys is so tempting.
