Things to note:

-We get our first glimpse of the Engineer/Space Jockey in the scene with the Jockey chair rising out of the ground.

-Exploding Derelict spacecraft.

-Space Jockey's head being examined.

The egg morphing scene was cut out because they decided against adding that part of the life cycle to the alien.


It's on the quadrology set.


I think they explained it that the alien could convert prey into eggs when they had no more eggs to I plant the host with.

Of course the question remains then as to where the face hugger came from.

Did the Alien secrete another embryo into the humans as they became eggs? If so that becomes somewhat predalien like.

No. They cut it out because it messed with the pacing of the film.

Aliens wasn't even thought of at that point.

As a movie in general, I do think Alien is the better overall film. But there's a reason I only bought the Aliens blu-ray by itself

Can't wait for the Apple trailer, but I saw the decent quality one. I can't wait for this movie!
