I thought I was done with HT figures (sold everything a few months ago) but now here I am looking at this guy, he looks so cool.... Even though they were underwhelming in the film (they were more like fancy bodyguards than Imperial specops). The design reminds me of SAS soldiers or something. Hmhmhmhmhhmhmh.............

It works with Krennic's character, thinks he's more special than he really is, so needs his own little group of troops.

Krennic was not portrayed the way I was expecting prior to seeing the movie, but I liked the way he was shown. He clearly had ambition and talent but sorely lacked the respect of vader and tarkin. If the empire was run the way our society is, Krennic would have had a day in court that would make Zuckerberg vs the Winklevoss twins low stakes and small potatoes.

But instead he gets the biggest double whammy possible. Not only is his idea stolen, it's used in his demise. And he got a brief moment to watch it happen:lol

The impact is 10x the amount the movie portrayed it if you read Catalyst before hand. Krennic has the makings of a great Imperialist but there was always something missing that never let him get ahead. I almost think it was just bad luck.

Anyone know whats on the gaunlets? Rockets, darts, lasers. Did they even use them in the movie?

No. Was wondering the same thing. They all have them. Chirrut and others too. Must be just a cool thing to have on your arm. Or maybe they are Star Wars friend bracelets ??

They look like the code key things that you see in Luke's pocket of his X-Wing flight suit. Krennic also has one in each breast pocket of his uniform. No idea what they're for but everyone seems to carry them.

They are code keys that control access to certain things. You plug it into a receptacle and it lets the computer know who is accessing it and if they have the authority to do so.

Its basically like a military CAC card.

Taking a shot in the dark here, but does anybody have a death trooper base with the sticker for a reasonable price?

How are you guys hanging the smaller gun on the holster strap? I put it through the trigger hole and around the scope, but it still hangs weird.

I think this guy is the way to go for me. Something about the standard without the pauldron doesn't really resonate and while I was batty for the extra accessories and base before, I think the uniformity of the stands really sell me here. I've got enough RP to get this down to half price...

Has anybody gotten 14 day notices from sideshow for this guy? Also, is this one thats on preorder the 2nd batch?

Mine shipped and I got it today... This thread is for the first "EX" Specialist without the headlamp.

I'm not sure if there is a separate thread for the Deluxe Specialist that went up much later.

Yeah, the specialist without the headlamp is the one i'm aiming for but i was just curious because it says preorder on sideshow's site.

Set up the Deathtrooper late last night. Really imposing figure. A lot better articulation than the TFA line of troopers. Kinda broke up my themes and just made a top shelf dark side.

Even though I plan on getting one of these in the deluxe specialist....something about the proportions is off and I can't figure out what. Even though the actors were tall/lanky, they looked fine to my eye. Something about the figures looks a little off to me.
