I may be wrong but to me Cap's body looks better proportioned with the Rogers head on in Clipperking's video. Something about the helmeted head makes the body look just a bit small...maybe the helmet head is wider or something? Regardless, I was always going to display this with the Rogers head anyway. As for the extra body, I'll use that for a kitbash down the line--or maybe to give my eventual Michael Myers figure (once someone offers a great Myers head for sale) a tall, imposing buff body.

I agree too that the arms could have been a bit more buff to complete the look in that Evans photo
.

:exactly:

I think that is the main reason why he appears so skinny.

Not sure what I'l do about the "fat suit". I don't care that much about articulation and I tend to leave my figures in museum poses. Also I have bad luck whenever I remove outfits from Hot Toys figures, or even partially remove them--inevitably, a belt, strap, or button breaks on me. Besides, you would assume Rogers has a couple of protective layers on under his Strike suit when he goes into battle, right? And if the fat suit is adding bulk to the top of the arms that's a good thing to me, so I'll just keep it as is.

Yeah it does add bulk to the arms but it adds more bulk to the body, which makes his arms look skinny. I was thinking if there was a way to remove the torso part of the fat suit and try to keep the shoulder parts of the fat suit. That way he would look slim in the torso but would still have big arms. Oh and BTW I am the say way I would pose my Cap in a museum pose to. I am willing to sacrifice articulation for accuracy.

I also love this shield, it has a great texture to it, feels battle damaged

Great pics Stealth but man does he look way too skinny, glad you are happy with him though. ;)

I think he looks fine personally, his torso could do with a little definition when you compare him to the still but i think he's a solid figure and definitely hot toys best cap

Sorry man he looks massive in that comparison pic, I mean look at his delts compared to the delts on the figure they are huge! :horror

Also the outfit looks tighter. Don't mean to rain on your parade, man just telling it how I see it and as long as you are happy with it that's all that matters. ;)

Great pic, Stealth, I love how they appear to be coming out of the shadows.

Nitpicks here and there, this will be my first Cap figure and probably last Cap figure. The Stealth Suit is a thing of beauty.

i get what you mean don't get me wrong hes by no means perfect i have my gripes too but he does what i want him to do lol stand there and look awesome on display lol, i do though think its time hot toys developed some new bodies that way you'd get that definition.

Im guessing the body is the traditional cap body which is this

Well that is the main thing and your pics do show off how nice the suit looks. :drool

Is that body different to the other cap bodies other than the GA one?

I think the body's fine--I'd love to see someone post a pic of it posed with the Rogers head--which I still think is smaller than the masked head. Or maybe post a photo of the body alongside a shot of Evans shirtless?

Hard to tell by looking at the picture you posted since the arms are pushed back making him have narrow looking shoulders. Here is what it looks like without the fat suit.

Likely a similar, if not the same, TrueType, just different padded sections. And if what Clip says is accurate, the suit itself, either due to its materials and/or its construction, severely limits articulation.

I'll probably add this to my collection (though I have no room for yet another Cap) but it's by no means come out perfect

I couldn't figure out what this pose was for the longest time, and my best guess is it's the one with his hands on his belt buckle.

A more accurate description certainly wouldn't hurt. ;)

I did put a lot of hints in my post. I mean searching "Captain America Thor Avengers 2" and it is the first image...

Got mine today...hand down the best cap they have done. Will post more photos soon

Yes this is it. Which set of hands did you use for this pose? Can you post a pic of the full figure like this?
