Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Wasn't thrilled with the movie that much, but I find this figure a compelling buy. The likeness and the suit look outstanding.

It was good as a action porn but sadly story should drive the action
as a reaction. like the look of the film but was lacking,
Zod was a nutter .

I know stuff will be delayed next year so they will flex out its just i dont which will be first.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I hope they get ride of the waist strip, and the carbon fiber look. I never really understood why they worked that into a superman outfit, other than being derivative of whatever is common in popular movies (Spiderman). Like how everything looks like Iron Man these days.

I think the waist strip gives it a bit more of a Sci-fi feel, which is nice but the carbon fibery texture is a muddled message. It's very terrestrial.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Thats cool and all but where u gonna get the suit and body? Oh and i've always liked your gif, CR Superman is the **** :hi5:

I'll customize a body and add the muscles. The suit will be a modded Jor El suit. For the moment, the headplay is on my custom MOS by Moe, but ultimately, he'll become a CK.

My custom Supes will get the Modern Life head... When they finally ship it!

Yes, that Supes Gif is great. I think that in a fraction of seconds, it shows all the power of Supes!

As for changes of costume in the second movie, Henry Cavill said he'd already been presented with new costumes, so that's a given!:)

The carbon fiber is to give is a more interesting visual feel. Basically to add visual texture to the suit rather than it looking like a simple piece of spandex. It makes your eyes interpret it as something more sophisticated than it really is.
