Lol what second version... Just buy a lightsaber in eBay, bam you have her from the end of the movie. All the characters were the same through the whole film. Its a jar jar abrams film, no character growth let alone wardrobe changes.

Looking at her outfit, I bet she turns out to be related to someone in Rogue One. Remember how she put on that x-wing pilot helmet? Well, if you look at her dress it makes an 'x' shape.

I would argue that she's clearly proficient in some form of self defense, as she has her staff and wielded it. So...

couple that background with being force sensitive and the fact Kylo was injured and unstable, I can see where she took him on. Plus her combat was arguably more defensive than offensive even though she struck Kylo.

I have a Bespin Luke lightsaber to pose with her if it comes to it. Would be nice if they include one with this figure though. But like a few people have said, it is likely we will see another version of her later with one included. Though, this is probably the only one with BB-8. Plus, we will probably get a Poe figure. Going to want BB-8 for him too. If this is the only way to get BB-8.

Rey's far enough away from release that I feel Hot Toys adding a lightsaber is a certainty. A light up lightsaber arm would be nice too, but I wouldn't be annoyed if one wasn't included.

Rey's far enough away from release that I feel Hot Toys adding a lightsaber is a certainty. A light up lightsaber arm would be nice too, but I wouldn't be annoyed if one wasn't included.

I doubt it. When they added the potted groot to that set they still advertised that extra, they just covered it up with a "secret" banner until after the movie came out. If they were going to add that I think they would have taken the same approach.

I thought I would, but this one is more detailed. I pre-ordered day 1. Love my Sphero BB-8 though. It's really fun.
