The Toy People pictures actually look pretty good. I don't see much of a difference between that and the prototype sculpt.

This one, I'm seeing a bit more Denzel Washington.

My 2 cents: proto was hundred times better painted and refined, but I'm not so sure it was a better Boyega likeness. On the other hand the pissed-off expression works only with a couple of scenes in the movie...most of the time he was a funny character.

I'd wait until more actual in hand photos of this figure start surfacing to see what it looks like in other lighting and angles.

Those first two photos show just how much difference lighting can make though. While clearly the same sculpt at almost identical angles (I know they are both of the proto), the second pic looks much more like JB in the film than the first does. Mine is leaving HK today, so I'll hopefully get to see it in hand early next week

I think all those proto pics look great regardless of lighting, it was great sculpt. He looked like a miniaturised actor.
I'm sure he will be a very nice figure out of the box, but **** what a **** up.

John Boyega is in the house !!! Likeness is not too bad from the certain angle.
His jacket is one of the best work from Hot Toys.

Yeah, he looks like he has more fat on his cheeks, like he did in the movie. The old sculpt, while great, looked like he was missing that fat.
