Yes, unfortunately the standard figure has the overbite - the faceplate is too thick and positioned too low.

I fixed mine by taking the faceplate off and carving back the inner surfaces and reshaping the pegs to reposition it. Check my pics over the last few pages, I think it looks tons better and truer to the movie prop.

Installed some new LED light strips in my cabinet. Really brings Phasma to life with direct light source reflections. SHINY.
 
Lighting makes all the difference, love the look of this one.

Nice work, Joeyrainbow! Not brave enough to pop her apart, although the knee pads keep falling off.
Catch her in the right lighting and she looks decent enough with no mods.

She does add a distinctive look to a display.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm looking at acquiring a captain phasma figure, and was wondering if she contains a fat suit similar to that of the FO stormtroopers? I saw on YouTube, someone removing the fat suit from the FO stormtrooper, allowing for better articulation and poses and wondered if the same process could be done for her? thx.
