Aren't there any reference pictures from the archive? I find it hard to believe Lucasfilm doesn't still have the costume or at least pictures in natural light. This isn't the 70's when props would disappear.

I’ve seen the real costume exhibited in New York. It’s purple’ish. I’ll try and find the pictures I have.

Pictures are too yellow because of lights. Hope it’s clear anyways.

But really the whole two colours thing is just a trick of the light - like Hans hoth coat. Jango didn’t change his suit.

That said I like the two colours and was always tempted to get a second medicom It would be a nice touch if they perhaps did a deluxe with both packs and suits

But he changed jetpacks?

There are so many pics with different color hues it’s hard to tell what was intended and what was left over after filming.

Oh, that. Still weird why he has jetpacks with different color schemes? I don't think he's a fashion guy.

Well, he would have been a fashion guy if he repainted the jetpack to fit his color scheme. He probably just got it looking like that... and as Boba has the same colors in ROTJ it must have been a standard mandalorian color scheme.
And I believe it’s intended that the color of the flight suit doesn’t match the blue on the helmet. Because he’s not a fashion guy.

He packs are different designs as well. Boba Fett of course changes his armour as well but there’s a six month or so time lag betweenness appearances. Jango flies to genosis and grabs a spare rocket pack. And then dies.
I’m sure if he hasn’t been killed he would have had a different armour for ep3

Thank you slikkerias for the pictures.
But for me one is purple with one jet pack and the other is blue with the another jet pack, don't you think ?

But I also found this picture buddy :

And the jet pack on this picture is not Geonosis one.

I really think HT should offer us both jetpacks but also both outfits

If that’s the colors you want to display your figure as, no one can tell you no. I was under the assumption we were talking about his screen accurate Kamino jumpsuit colors.

I agree we should get both jetpacks and I’d rather Hot Toys give us a second helmet with the dent rather than two jumpsuits.

Lighting while filming a movie makes a big difference in how colors are perceived on film. So the question is, do you want screen accurate or actual prop costume accurate.

The Han Hoth jacket was brown. It was proven to be brown in books, on tour in museums, and even the woman who created it said it was brown and showed pictures of her with it. Yet on screen at times it appeared both blue and brown. And people still insist it was blue. That was cool when SS made that figure and offered both colors. Curious how HT will handle that as well.

I have the SS Jango and doesn't bother me its purple. I think the purple pops more. And think I will stick with him as I have a feeling HT may not include a headsculpt and i do have the Ex Jango. And I've never had problems with anything falling off him. Although I did have his missle on his guantlet broken in the box when I received him, but SS replaced it immediately.

It’s just funny how promo images and toys used the blue color at first then switched to purple much later on. If they had used the correct color in the first place these discussions wouldn’t be necessary.

Stop toying with our minds and our emotions.

I think if they didn’t make the purple so bright and toned it down a bit everyone would be happy. Mix the two colors together and you’d have the perfect Jango.

I still have that Hasbro deluxe Jango as well in a box somewhere. That was such an awesome figure for its time and price point for everything you got.

Yes, Hasbro's Ultimate Jango was probably the best 1/6th figure they ever produced if we are talking about value. Sculptwise, their best figure was probably Dooku.
