It makes so much sense for me to go that route. Really hoping it is true. Although I feel like I may be setting myself up for disappointment...

Well, if Snoke is Darth Plagueis the Sith are alive and well. Which it seems obvious to me he is.

I really hope it's this. It would be perfect.

It makes so much sense for me to go that route. Really hoping it is true. Although I feel like I may be setting myself up for disappointment...

I hope he is. For one thing it would tie the series closer together, since it was the story of Plagueis which pushed Anakin closer to Palpatine, and hence to the dark side.

Also, it would set up the resurrection of Han - but this is the point at which the Snoke/Plagueis connection becomes tenuous because resurrecting popular characters is a corny tactic. Plus I doubt Harrison would want to return. Maybe he would for a little cameo, but it would be pointless beyond satisfying distraught Solo fans.

I wished we would never see any of the main characters die on screen, but have them live on in an uncertain future. It was bad enough reading the appendices to The Lord of the Rings and finding out as the years pass which characters die, and which cross over to the Undying Lands.

Is there anymore info on Snoke though? I also read that Daisy Ridley said they won't be going with a EU theory and JJ said they were not in a production meeting.... so.... probably means this Plagueis theory.... That could just mean for TFA though and not for the future movies....

What is your theory on Snoke?

I agree, it would tie the series together perfectly and finally be a fitting end.

That is until the Yuuzhan Vong arrive for Episode 10-12.

I thought Driver did a great performance as Kylo Ren.
I seen the movie twice within 6hrs in Australia wednes night, midnight and then 6am imax.
The little hissyfits were awesome...lookkng forward to his character development.

but the fight scene with kylo and rey did not deliver to me as easy as they have shown it, if you get what I mean.
I get the he's injured but he has been training most of his life. though I guess he did win but suddenly got overpowered by Reys Force and everything that comes with it. did sink in to me till I typed this.

edit: this is the only scene that bothered me. everything else I enjoyed.

What is your theory on Snoke?

Based on everything I have read/heard about? He is a brand new character who was likely discovered when the Empire retreated to the Unknown Region. I'll start believing in Santa Clause again before I believe he is anyone from the EU. And if I could somehow bet to make profit off of it, I would be at the bank bright and early begging for a loan lol.

Actually that is something that got out after the premier. A lot of people thought they saw that happen so it started to spread. Then people watched it for themselves and realized that's not what happened.

And I still can't get over how awesome the

Scene where he stops Poe's blaster bolt is. Someone in the theater the second time I watched it shouted "holy ****!". We have never seen anything like that which was cool. Also seeing him incapacitate Rey was awesome.

I thought he was amateur and she a scrapper. It's nice they tamed down the fight and makes the OT duels feel less dated. Too much Matrix spoils us.

pretty sure there's a v2 kylo with the head now. Though it's safe to assume I've no interest in any of the new characters. Except for maybe Old Luke. I think they will make him too despite his brief on screen moments.

I loved how you could see them use the force on each other. Those expressions should also be sculpted!
And I loved how Rey learnt those expressions!!!
