JuSt got my first hot toys with this Mk iv it's excellent and definitely worth the wait from last summer but mine has one defect where there's a gap on the articulated hand where it closes at the thumb so it dangles around :/ I hope I can get it replaced overall great first 1:6 figure!

Anyone able to confirm if these all have light bleed on the hands and face when the LED's are turned on. I'm not sure if I've got one from a bad batch or if that's normal. I need to get this back to SSC for a replacement if it's not before the 30 days is up.

i see what you mean, mine does, but no biggy, if you watch IM1 when he fires his chest RT the suit kinda bleeds light all up the abdomen

But again I have artwork deadlines today. I have however taken just him out of the box and placed him in cabinet as there was space made well in advance!

I will have my fun with it on friday.

Congrats on your first and you picked one helluva figure to start with! Careful though...it gets out of control fast!

Well it's really helped to read all the camera tips here from you Vodoun, Ded and the rest. Experimenting with light and settings on my camera has been the biggest improvement. Appreciate all the comments and tips guys!

I have a few more but I'm not sure what's happening on my Photobucket account. Once I get that squared away I'll upload them.


Oh Mag, forgot to ask, you are getting this right? Is this your first IM? Need to go back and look at the Menagerie I suppose. Looking forward to see what you come up with if so.

That's what I said when I started over a year ago with a DX Joker. All went to hell after that. Just look at my collection thread...reminds me everytime where all my money went!

Quick question,
So i finally got my Mark IV replacement for the one who's airbreak flaps broke.

With the 1st one i recieved,I followed the instruction on how to open the airbreak behind the legs carefully using the tool that HT provided. Sadly the little hinge that supported it broke. Now one could argure that it was cause of poor design being that its so small and thin or perhaps it was cause I did it wrong somehow, who know what was the reason cause it just simply happened.

Anyhow now that I have my replacment, im very reluctant to even open the airbreak flap for fear that it might encounter the same issue. The most i did was use the tool to open a slight crack, but i opted to stop there since i felt some physical resistance.

Is there a better way to lift up the flap without fear of breaking it again? Someone suggesting using a little oil to help loosen it.

Any recommendations?
