Hey Guys & Gals! I made a very special video for everyone! In today’s video, I review the first ever Hot Toys branded figure that was released almost 17 years ago! Check it out & Enjoy ☺

Is that the "first ever Hot Toys branded figure"? I thought they were doing 1/6 military before their first few celebrity knockoffs (I think George Lucas and Neo from the first Matrix were the other two along with Ethan Hunt).

I believe their first full figures were the Green Beret and SEAL HALO figures which were made the same year as their NEO and Director figures in 2001.
Here's a review of their SEAL HALO:

The MI2 Ethan Hunt figure came out shortly after the first two Famous Types.

The very first Hot Toys item ever made was their MOPP suit boxed set which came out either in 2000 or early 2001.
Here's a review of that set:

The boxed MOPP set was $45 back when something like it would sell for $15 or $20 at most.
See, Hot Toys have always been overpriced.

Is that supposed to be Cruise? Interesting.

There's never been an official figure of the guy, right?

That fake leather jacket is flaking off. You can see it all over his hands during the review. I would just keep it sealed up since its history.

I wished Howard Chan would sleep on the floor for his figures nowadays. Great review!
