Any interest in the new animated show that’s being reported by several fairly reputable leakers? A pre-Solo Crimson Dawn and Maul show. By all accounts Sam Witwer, Matt Lanter & Paul Brittany have already recorded their lines. They’ll probably make it official on November 12th. Kind of sad that it was supposed to be a live-action show, but something changed their minds (hopefully not Ray Park) to make it animated.

Animated? I'd be far more interested in a live action series. Oh well.

Well now that Maul actually has a personality it's bit harder to do live action for him, dubbing was fine in TMP and Solo because he only had a couple of lines, but for a whole movie or show? I don't think it'd work.

Yeah I saw this too. They are probably still shirt scared to go anywhere near Solo related stuff, so I could imagine the thinking would be "Let's do an animation-read "less expensive". Then if the people like it, then go to a live action".

Ray Park isn't the youngest anymore either. But I guess Maul is also old, so fits. Plus they could always "deep fake" it for any more athletic type stuff.

Not sure Ray Park is in Disney’s good books. Kind of sad if true, he hasn’t done anything wrong. I believe someone created a fake account pretending to be his kid and posting all sorts of slanderous allegations of abuse against him. His wife and kid came out and quickly denied it. Unfortunately you’re guilty in the eyes of many these days even if proven innocent.

Not sure if the sex tape, supposedly of him and his wife, was real or not. I’m calling fake as he only had a single bladed lightsaber and it wasn’t even red.

Me. I've had enough of him. I loved Maul in TPM as much as anyone and wanted more, but him becoming some underground crime lord just doesn't suit him. Lucas seen how popular he was and wanted to milk him dry.

I would of originally agreed with you prior to his revival in S4 of TCW, but how well they did it and how smooth the transition was for the character, it just felt right. Him becoming a underground crime lord just suited him because they did such a great job with it.

Is this Trandoshan second from the left, actually female?

I think it is. Look how much smaller she is compared to her companion on her right. All facial features less pronounced, smaller scalp crests and ridges and generally smaller. Also, wearing jewelry. The one seated next to her looks much more like we're expecting a Trandoshan to look.

Now, anyone who has read the Dr. Aphra books knows well that female Trandoshans are NOT to be trifled with. But just saying; I think that's a girl. We'll see what happens!

EDIT: And if it is, thank whoever's final decision this was to *NOT* put boobs on reptilian species. There is nothing more stupid than female reptilians in any franchise who have boobs, and this is a hill I'm willing to die on, puns not intended. Thank you! But in all seriousness that could be a real thing that his voice acting isn't suitable, and hence they went to animated instead ?? Maybe multiple reasons ??

Nah dude, if it was because of Ray Park it was because of the porn video he uploaded in his Instagram Account, apparently in a fit of rage/suspicious that his wife was cheating he uploaded a porn video of her in his main insta, i was unlucky enough to see it posted and was taken aback by it, checking if it was his real account, guy lost his marriage because of it.
