Sculpt seems okay in this comparison.

But I always found clothed anime/comic figures to be a little weird... there's a sort of mismatch... realistic clothes, unrealistic face.

holy crap! seeing these pictures really brought a big smile to my face! I think I'm gonna preorder these, not sure how i can afford them, but wow, im gonna get these!

Not familiar with the series, but they are pretty good looking. Guess HT is now in the process of crushing Medicom's last strong suit of doing Anime figures :lol

I think they look fantastic. I loved the 20th Century Boys: Friend figure, and the Appleseed: Ex Machina figs are still two of my alltime faves.
Hope I can get my hands on them.

Looks great but I'll pass..not familiar w/ this series. Hope they will also make Samurai X or Ghost Fighter.

so will this be the start of an anime toyline for hot toys?? man, so glad they decided to have saiko for their initial release. wonder how much the price point on this would be....

Geez if hot toys starts doing anime figure's then i think I might be out of money. Medicom wishes it can make figure's like this. Such awesome figure's and I no nothing about this show.

I hope Hot Toys starts doing more anime figures. They are roughly the same price as a Medicom RAH, but much better in quality and more worth while.

I'll definitely buy both of these, but I wonder when they come out and where we can get them for a good price. If I remember correctly, Tomodachi was not available on Sideshow. Ugh I still hate myself for not getting him when he came out and not knowing about the AmiAmi sale until it was to late. He's going for a lot on Ebay right now and it seems like AmiAmi won't restock him. It would have been such a steal too.

And don't even get me started on Golgo 13. I can never even find it on the aftermarket.

Same price point as Bruce Lee in-suit/casual for each of Saeko & Ryo

Wow...the Ryo looks damn good. Definitely picking that one up. Hopefully, this is a start to a nice anime/manga line. ;)

Think I'm gonna get these now!!

Gonna have to dig out my Hong Kong City Hunter VHS tapes for a refresh ;)

I cannot contain my excitement for these two figures. December is so far away! I'm also shocked Hot Toys is doing two characters instead of just one. With 20th Century Boys and Golgo 13, they only did one character, though that makes sense with Golgo.

Do you guys think we will be seeing any more releases from this license? I hope it sells really well. If it does and they decide to keep this license going, I think Kaori and Umibozu. Two men and two females. Kaori is obvious but Umibozu would be especially fun because Hot Toys could make an exaggerated muscular body for him and have him come with A LOT of weapons.
