1/6 Hot Toys BvS: Dawn of Justice-Wonder Woman

i mean, i dont mind. i like the "colorful" version.
its just a little bit weird that it took them so long to make this figure and then its not even the "correct" costume.
as i said, i dont mind. i dont really want the dark worn out version
but id like to know if they made the color thing on purpose or by accident.
lets wait and see how the next official photos turn out. maybe its just some weird overdone flashlight thing or whatever

It is a little odd they have her gold colouring from BvS with the blue from WW and the red/brown doesn't appear to be the same as either. Of course a lot of that could be down the lighting the figure was displayed under. I think it was mentioned by those that saw it, in person the colours look less vibrant.

HT didn't get Superman's colour spot on either and more noticeably they made the batsuit too dark.

For me it's not much of an issue, I love these figures regardless of those nitpicks. Those expecting 100% accuracy will likely always be disappointed.

I think Hot Toys tried to emulate the movies rather than the actual suits colourd

A JL WW I think will be more of a certainty than a solo film one, since she'll be part of a larger set/team. I think there will be a solo one as well at some point, but I'd just be inclined to say a JL one is more certain.



Biggest difference to me still looks to be the gold. Gold is more tarnished on the BvS suit and more rich on the WW suit. The skirt on the BvS suit is a bit more faded and the torso armor scratched, but I don't think the coloring on either is really an entirely different hue at all.

On the BvS figure, the skirt to me looks more like how the skirt looked in WW, but the gold looks a tad more on the tarnished side, like it was in BvS. It's like the suit on the figure has elements in it from both films, intentional or not.

Definitely, even if there's none from WW there will certainly be one from JL. If it is JL only though, I hope they give it the newer and shinier look to the armor. Along with fuller and wavier hair. Personally speaking, I would prefer it be from WW as I kinda prefer the shield from the solo movie.

I think they'll make a solo Wonder Woman figure. They make all those Black Widows and it's essentially the same suit with different hairstyles, and Diana's hair in the solo movie is definitely a lot fuller and a little bit more curly.

This is why I bought only 1 BW from Hot Toys and haven't bought any other. I just want 1 unless there's a different outfit. I am very strange but I want her outfit from The Winter Soldier when she and Steve go on their own mission.

Back to DC... even if they do one from WW I won't get it, just the extra accessories. This one is enough for me.

Sideshow has changed the est arrival from jun-jul to just jul. I don't know if that means anything in terms of a final definite answer but it is something.

I haven't used them before but they seem to have good reviews and are based in the UK. They're also saying the release date is 31 July [emoji848]

I'd be amazed if they get it by then. Sideshow usually don't get theirs for 6-8 weeks after the HK release putting them on track for August at the earliest. In the UK we'll probably wait even longer than that sadly.
